I created the Editing Masterclass for my clients because it is the training every academic needs, but few receive.
Yes, it's research led, like all my training. But it is also learning that came to me the hard way. I went through the bad times, because I didn't have anyone to help me. You don't have to.
I realised that basic writing training is critical for all academics, but so many Universities don't supply it, leaving it to academics and PhDs to muddle through on their own. This results in the print, amend repeat cycle that we call 'editing' that has no real purpose or clarity attached to it.
